More on DeZaView

DeZaView

One in five students in the US are enrolled in an online course. We are seeing an explosive growth in online courses and, expansion of a bewildering array of online learning material. This is raising a question about what exactly the students, teacher and parents expect from courses delivered over internet- whether purely online, blended or flipped.

Should K-12 students use Wikipedia as a major source, while researching for their assignment or, supplementing their learning?   This debate has been raging on for some time in the teachers and educators community.

DeZaView - for the Inquisitive Mind

DeZaView

Something was in the air! How do you not get caught up, I wonder?

Christmas of 2011, spent at Tahoe, was the inception moment.
The idea of building something, which could potentially touch the lives of inquisitive students (albeit a few), caught me in its thrall, and has kept me spellbound since. The drive back from Tahoe saw a new me.

The evening walks with my husband soon turned into brainstorming sessions.
Dinner table, to this date witnesses, debates around the efficacy of the algorithm.
Four warriors … a 100 views!
