More on DeZaView

DeZaView

One in five students in the US are enrolled in an online course. We are seeing an explosive growth in online courses and, expansion of a bewildering array of online learning material. This is raising a question about what exactly the students, teacher and parents expect from courses delivered over internet- whether purely online, blended or flipped.

Should K-12 students use Wikipedia as a major source, while researching for their assignment or, supplementing their learning?   This debate has been raging on for some time in the teachers and educators community.

Dinner table, to this date witnesses, debates around the efficacy of the algorithm.
Four warriors … a 100 views!

Class Junky & the quest for learning

Class Junky

Wendy, a dear friend of mine, & a social entrepreneur is the perfect example of a Class Junky.
From baking, to yoga, to rushing off to Hawaii to attend a class on sea turtles …you name it and she has done it.
Her sister is equally passionate about learning.
Something in their DNA, perhaps J

The two of us spent many a Saturday afternoons at CafĂ© Epi on University Ave in Palo Alto. The cafe does have that little spot of sunshine (rightfully claimed) – and a whole lot of free Wi-Fi. A welcoming combination.
The wireframes got pencilled; the prototypes emerged … all with a bit of cheese and a lot of caffeine.
